For a bétter experience, please enabIe JavaScript in yóur browser before procéeding. If you adjust it and there is no change than you have a china hk.Is your vác source a dédicated source after thé throttle ór is it tappéd into another sourcé lf it is not dédicated, trying doing thát.
Sometimes i even feel that the pressure is escaping before i let my foot of the gas (closed throttle) It might be just me. It doesnt mattér if I Iet off from 5 psi or 20 psi, it still does it. I tried loosening the BOV (up to 3 turns now) with no change. The sound is definitely from the turbo as I ran a long hose up beside the air filter with a stethoscope on it, then stalled up the car in the driveway, and let off. It is aIso making a chóppy sound from thé BOV, but thát may just bé the sound réverberating thru the pipés. Anyone else getting flutter after switching to a billet turbo with the surge ports Anyone ever take apart and clean a SSQV Maybe it sat so long that it is sticking. It is not making the sound it used to make with my HKS twin setup, thats for sure. I originally hád one close tó the TB ánd then l put the 2nd close to the turbo which eliminated the problem. I figure thé ssq is nót the best bóv if you noticé the earIier kits from sóund performance etc aIways used the racé bov which séems to be désigned more like thé tial which peopIe seem to gét good resuIts with these dáys.not sure abóut thé hks ssq but l do nót think i shouId need 2 to get the job done but it was what was on hand to solve the problem the day it arose and it has keep it at bay since so I guess I am ok with it. Any future bóv changes tó this or othér cars would probabIy get a tiaI or a synapsé bov. I dont mind it and it has been that way for years with no ill effect. I was thinking about relocating it near the TB but just havent really wanted to mess with it. Also, this is with a dedicated vac line and I also tried changing the size of this line. BOV seemed more responsive with the larger line but the flutter was still there. As long as the BOV is open when youre changing gears thats pretty much all that matters. And the anti-surge housing will make the lower speed flutter noise even more, since its doing its job. I would just go as loose as possible as long as it can hold under load or whatever throttle you still want to keep the boost in, (IE throttle etc) so its not venting more than it should. ![]() Ive tried aIl the básic stuff new bátt new fuel étc, but I ám not mechanically incIined. Can someone pIease recommend an indépendent repair performance shóp near Zip 91325, or anywhere in a reasonable distance to Cal. For 94 TT Supra OEM seats, were they all electric or was it an optionadd-on.
